- Font Size at least 28 – 32 point font
- If viewed on a projector the contrast needs to be even stronger than on paper
- Do not use color as the only way to convey content
- Use the Microsoft PowerPoint templates and text boxes
- Review the outline panel to ensure the content on the slides is in logical order
- Alt Text on images or be sure to supply the image information within the content
- Descriptive Hyperlinks
- Avoid slide transitions
- Use simple language
- Always check the reading order of text boxes
- Caption embedded video
- Check to be sure player controls are accessible
- Transcript audio content
- Only brief simple animations and be sure they do not distract from the message
