Welcome! The Harold P. Erickson Library, also known as Lake Superior College Library, is your one-stop place for your research needs. The information literacy tutorials on this site (and more in development) will help you navigate library resources and more. We know how overwhelming it can be to find relevant information–whether it be for your papers, projects, etc.–and we’re here to make it easier.
Named after the first president of Lake Superior College (LSC), the Harold P. Erickson Library is located in the port city of Duluth, Minnesota on the LSC campus. It offers library and research services to the faculty, students, and staff of the LSC community. It also serves as a research hub and a quiet place for studying.
Librarians are available at the Reference Desk during the weekdays generally from 8am-4pm. The Library has 14 computers with internet access and various software, 2 Library Catalog terminals, a printer, and photocopier. There are 5 group study rooms and 1 shared group study room. Each group room is equipped with televisions and DVD players. There are also many tables and carrels throughout the Library for individuals with access to electrical outlets.
