Welcome to TRIO Student Support Services!

My name is Alicia Musselman. I am the newest addition to the TRIO SSS Advising team, though I started my career at Lake Superior College as an Admissions Representative in 2016.

I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and took a laddered approach to my education – completing my Associate’s degree at Hennepin Technical College, Bachelor’s degree (International Relations) at Augsburg University, and recently completed my Master’s degree (Educational Leadership) at Saint Mary’s University.

As a first generation, low-income student, I overcame various obstacles throughout my academic career and developed a strong passion for helping students succeed in higher education. I am excited to have the opportunity to be a resource and support system for students at LSC.

Outside of school and work, I love spending time with friends and family, hiking, biking, camping, and just about anything outside in the sunshine!
