LSC students Derek Fichtner, James Hauff and Julie Lagios stand on the highest podium to receive their gold medals.

LSC integrated manufacturing students are again proving why their club is called SkillsUSA.

After a spectacular showing at the March State SkillsUSA competition in Bloomington, MN, these creative and dexterous students proved they can ratchet it up a few notches in a national competition, too.

During the June 23-27 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, MO, they took home one gold medal, one bronze medal and were awarded one top five finish.

LSC Students who participated in the National SkillsUSA competition were Julie Lagios, Pete Alms, David Hauff, Nate Zobel, Derek Fichtner, Al Walz and James Hauff.
